The Harris County Hospital District Foundation recently awarded Healing Species with a grant of $34,499.00. This grant enables Healing Species to bring the program to over 600 HISD students and also reach the girls at Freedom Place who are victims of human trafficking and the sex trade. We are deeply grateful to the foundation and it's board members who had many wonderful organizations to choose from and gave us this first time opportunity. Schools receiving Healing Species classes are Berry Elementary, Betsy Ross Elementary and Pilgrim Academy.
